DMX started rapping around the late 1990s. He released his debut The album It's Hot as well as Hell is DARK on the 19th of May, 1998. Among his other albums were... and then there was x, the Great Depression Year of the Dog... again The Redemption of the Beast Gran Champ and Flesh of Flesh Blood of Blood. His album titled...And It was X was nominated by the Grammy in 2001 for Best Rap Album in 2001. Alongside his music projects, he also appeared in movies like Lords of the Street Belly Top Five Exit Wounds Never Be Alone, The Bleeding Romeo Has to Die Backstage Beyond the Law Lockjaw Rise of the Kulev Serpent and Fast and Fierce Death Race.
