Aubrey Peeples

Aubrey Peeples is an American actor and singer from the United States. Her most well-known role is her portrayal of Layla Grant, in Nashville (2012) drama and Claudia Shepard from Sharknado (2013). In addition, she played the leading character Jerrica Jem Benton, in the film Jem and the Holograms (2015). Aubrey Peeples, the child of Wendy Peeples and Ashley Peeples, was raised in Lake Mary Florida. She also has an older sister named Ally. Aubrey performed for 10 seasons in the Orlando Repertory Theatre. Her graduation ceremony from Lake Mary Preparatory School was an address to the class' valedictory in 2012. Harvard University admitted her, but she needed to be able to consent to her admission the second time due to her Nashville performance. Peeples was a part of Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally And Ally and Ally (2011) Grey's Anatomy (2005) and NecessaryRoughness (1991) as guest star. Peeples was a part of two TV-produced films, Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective (2009 and The Good Mother). The actress was cast in an important recurring role on the second season of the drama series Nashville where she played Layla Grant. Peeples spoke about her bipolar disorder during an interview in 2019 with NKD Magazine. Indiewire named Peeples as one of the most talented actors younger than twenty in September 2014.
